TAKE IT EASY

WEEKLY MEETINGS FOR FOREIGNERS AND PERSONS WITH MIGRANT EXPERIENCE

Regardless of what’s going on in the world (especially now), all of us need a safe space to talk, to meet, to be able to express ourselves and our hopes, fears and sorrows. A place like this is necessary – for us to ask questions, express doubts and to simply ask for help or advice.
We want to provide you with an online space where you can regularly go and talk to others – for free, safely and with a psychologists’ guidance and support.

We want to create a safe space for all persons who:

• may experience culture shock or minority stress
• have difficulties with a new situation outside of their country of origin – new work, new school, new environment, new people around, being away from family
• experience lack of confidence, fear and anxiety about the future
• came to Poland with their own baggage of difficult experiences and it is difficult for them to deal with it here
• want to build or rebuild their place to live in a new reality….

If you do not feel like you belong to this group, but still would like to:

- ask about everyday issues you have difficulties with
- get to know the psychological mechanisms related to your situation and understand your emotions, feelings and relationships,
- learn to cope with difficult emotions (anger, frustration, fear, anxiety)
- seek advice in any matter important to you
- get to know other foreigners who live in Lublin
- and talk about the good and the bad sides of living in Lublin :)

Please join a new group created for foreigners living in Lublin as well as other people with migration experience (also those returning to Poland from abroad), regardless of age and how long they have lived in Poland.
The meetings are designed to share and exchange experience in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Discussion, workshops, sometimes a short lecture – it all depends on your needs!

Group zoom meetings will be held once a week, every Monday at 7 p.m. - 8.00 p.m in two language groups: Polish and English.

We will meet on zoom. It is free of charge and you don’t need to register beforehand to take part.
You can participate anonimously – we do not require any sort of identification. We want this situation to be as comfortable for you, as it can.

How to join a meeting?

Show up a moment before 7 pm on Monday by clicking the link and join our group.
